Tarkett wins Sustainable Innovation Award 2013

These Awards created by Bearing Point in France, in partnership with L’Expansion magazine and engineering school L’Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, are part of an Observatory of Innovation Management established in 2006 to explore best practices and the companies that excel in innovation management.

In 2011, the Group adopted the Cradle to Cradle challenge with the objective of designing products that no longer have an end of life but can be repeatedly recycled into new products. This eco-innovation approach, based on the principles of a circular economy, covers the four stages of the product life:

·       choice of materials that are good for health and the environment,

·       responsible use of resources in production,

·        well-being of users through indoor air quality and ease of installation and maintenance of products,

·         reuse and recycling of materials at end-of-use to produce new products while minimizing the consumption of resources.
